Santa Barbara based CHK America, specialists in the visual communication of passenger information, has been selected by Waukesha Metro Transit to design new public timetables for the agencies 15 routes. That announcement was made today by Frederick A. Wood, President and CEO, CHK America.

The fifteen new timetables are to be designed to scale, will be similar in both concept and style, and produced in four color format, thereby ensuring that passengers can easily interpret Waukesha Metro Transit’s service information. The agency operates both fixed route and paratransit services through a network of local and arterial routes in and around the City of Waukesha and surrounding communities including along Bluemound Road to Brookfield Square in Brookfield. In addition to the local route network, Metro oversees contracted services including an interurban line linking Waukesha with downtown Milwaukee and the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. Three peak hour commuter express lines into Milwaukee supplement this route.

“We are pleased to have been awarded this project by Waukesha Metro Transit,” said Frederick A. Wood, president and CEO of CHK America. “Metro offers a strong network of circulator routes in and around the city, and we are excited about helping riders take full advantage of the services available.”
