CHK America, specialists in the visual communication of passenger information, has created a new position in the Austin, TX office for a Sales Director to be filled by Ed Easton, a seven year veteran in this field. The announcement was made today by Frederick A. Wood, President and CEO, CHK America. Easton joins CHK America from the company’s Head Office, Cook, Hammond and Kell (CHK) in London, England, following a four-year term with the company. A highly-regarded and talented transit specialist, Easton has been responsible for managing customer accounts for our UK transit clients, including strategic planning and analysis for Transport for London. Easton’s career has include cartographic production management and geographic education. Before joining CHK, Easton managed a team of 12 cartographic personnel and led a team of cartographers producing maps for the National Geographic Society Magazine and the Society’s Educational Divisions.
