CHK America President and CEO, Rick Wood announced today that the company has been awarded the customer information design contract for Beach Cities Transit (BCT) in Redondo Beach, California. Upon completion, the customized, easy-to-use information will be placed at five of BCT’s busiest hubs including the Douglas Green Line Station and the Galleria at South Bay Stop.

With the assistance of Federal Transit Enhancement funds, Beach Cities Transit will work with CHK America to improve the quality of their information and wayfinding tools giving locals and tourists alike the confidence to use public transit. The project includes the design of easy-to-read System Maps, an Isometric Web Map and several CHK signature Spider Maps®.
